a galactose-conjugated in-vivo jetPEI designed to target liver cells expressing the asialoglycoprotein receptor, such as hepatocytes.
in vivo-jetPEI-Man:
a mannose-conjugated in-vivo jetPEI designed to target cells expressing mannose-specific membrane receptors, such as macrophages.

in-vivo jetPEI-Biotin
a biotin-conjugated linear polyethylenimine derivative designed to follow biodistribution of jetPEI / DNA complexes using the streptavidin / avidin technology (radiolabeled, enzyme-conjugated or fluorescent avidin) (Dolivet et al 2002, Cancer Gene Therapy:9, 708-714). jetPEI-Biotin is also convenient for developing targeted complexes using the ligand-conjugated avidin (liganded avidin / streptavidin).
