AmpliCruz™ is designed to amplify the signal detected by western blot and is an excellent tool for:

• evaluating proteins with low expression
  
• conserving precious lysates with well expressed proteins: much smaller amounts of lysate required per lane

The system includes a membrane enhancement solution, blocking solution and antibody dilution buffer and significantly increases chemiluminescent signals by

• increasing antigen recognition potential on the membrane
  
• Improving the environment for primary antibody-antigen interactions

 Protocol

Western blot analysis of MEK-1 expression in HeLa whole cell lysate using standard Western blotting protocols (A) and AmpliCruz Western Blot Enhancement System: sc-45049 (B). Primary antibody used at a 1:100 dilution. Secondary antibody used at 1:32000 dilution. Note presence of stronger signal when AmpliCruz is used. 

Each AmpliCruz Western Blot Signal Enhancement System performs 15-20 western blot enhancements (on 10 cm x 6 cm PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane)

Each kit is £60 and contains:

• Membrane Enhancement Solution (1 X solution; 250ml)
  
• Membrane Blocking Solution (1 X solution; 250ml)
  
• Primary/Secondary Dilution buffer (5 X solution; 100ml)
