FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- When used as directed, ExactaCruz™ effectively eliminates the detection of heavy and light chains of the IP antibody- giving cleaner blots and easy identification of proteins in the 25 and 50 kDa range.
- The optimised format with specialist IP matrix and detection antibody is of particular value for the analysis of cellular proteins that are expressed at very low levels and thus difficult to detect using conventional Western Blotting procedures.
There are six unique detection systems that use any combination of goat, rabbit and mouse antibodies as the IP and Western Blotting (WB) antibodies. Protocol
Immunoprecipitation of 14-3-3 beta
Immunoprecipitation of 14-3-3 beta from HeLa whole cell lysate using 14-3-3 beta (FL-246): sc-13959 (rabbit polyclonal antibody) followed by Western blot analysis using 14-3-3 beta (K-19): sc-629 (rabbit polyclonal antibody). Note presence of IgG heavy chain using goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP conventional secondary antibody: sc-2004 (A) as compared to the absence of heavy chain using ExactaCruzTM F: sc-45043 (B). |

Kit Components
Each kit contains the required IP matrix to precipitate the desired Ag-Ab complex and an HRP conjugated reagent that detects only the desired WB antibody. - 2.0ml (25%v/v) Immunoprecipitation Matrix 1
- 2.0ml (25%v/v) Immunoprecipitation Matrix 2 (for Cat No sc-45038, sc-45039 and sc-45040)
- 0.5ml Western Blotting Detection Reagent

Note presence of Protein A/G band using Protein A/G PLUS-Agarose: sc-2003 conventional IP matrix (A) as compared to their absence using ExactaCruzTM F: sc-45043 (B). |
